Student Life Care is actively pursuing business expansion in Korea
Aim to become Southeast Asia’s leading edu-Tech group
The Vietnamese startup Student Life Care was selected by the K-Startup Grand Challenge 2018 program; it is a startup company that provides Vietnamese overseas resettlement services in the fast-growing market for studying abroad.
The founder of Student Life Care, Mr. Eric Ha said in an interview that the following errors exist when Vietnamese students begin studying abroad:
• Time to adapt to language barriers and culture shock
• High cost and reliability issues through agencies
• May ask for help from relatives which may cause trouble or hardship to the other party
Currently, there are thousands of overseas study abroad agencies in Vietnam, but most of them do not provide adequate services. They also do not provide end-to-end services where foreign students settle.
Student Life Care assists Vietnamese students who are having difficulties in studying abroad, and it helps them to transition quickly by providing them with various package services such as pickups, housing rental assistance, and networking parties. Vietnamese students can purchase the Student Life Care package and receive a variety of services that offset the amount paid over the next two to three years.
Eric's future strategy for business is not ending with a simple student resettlement service, but in the future, creating a database for overseas students and provide follow-up services such as headhunters in Vietnam where human resources are in high demand.
Student Life Care has already provided services to more than 1,700 students, fostered 1,600 local Student Heroes worldwide, and already provides services for six countries globally. With the team selected as a K-Startup Grand Challenge 2018 participant, Student Life Care is actively pursuing business expansion in Korea.
Eric, Student Life Care’s founder who studied abroad in Australia, is said to be a serial entrepreneur and has been greatly influenced by his father who is also an entrepreneur. Student Life Care has already won many start-up competitions in Vietnam and has been on TV raising awareness.
The number of Vietnamese students studying abroad has exceeded 110,000 a year and is growing more than ten percent every year. Currently, Student Life Care overseas students are providing resettlement services and aim to become Southeast Asia’s leading edu-Tech group.
